As a CIO, our high-quality services support people in the community by:
· Providing a childcare service of the highest quality as part of the response to local needs;
· Providing opportunities for the local community, in particular older people to live as independently as possible for as long as possible in their own homes;
· Ensuring that services offered reflect the local priority needs in helping towards entry into employment and other levels of training and education.
We employ approximately 70 employees.
About the Role
The Board of Trustees are now seeking to appoint a CEO with the strategic vision and commercial acumen to build on HH’s strong operational and reputational foundations to further develop the charity’s impact and resilience.
As CEO you will play a pivotal role in continuing to shape the strategic vision and bring proven leadership experience across a range of management functions to lead a committed and values driven team, providing high quality services that make a genuine impact on people’s lives and wellbeing.
Who Are We Looking For
You must be a confident networker, presenter, and communicator, capable of creating and sustaining senior relationships with partners, funders, businesses, and other stakeholders.
You will act as an ambassador with external stakeholders, drive excellence and maintain and grow a sustainable organisation. Proven experience of navigating policy and fundraising within the charity sectors and being able to identify relevant local, regional, and national funding opportunities will be essential.
As the new CEO you will have empathy with the beneficiaries of adult and children’s services and a knowledge of approaches that deliver lasting personal change. You will lead an experienced and collaborative team through this period of leadership change and will therefore be approachable and sensitive, whilst also pursuing opportunities for personal and corporate development and learning.

Requirements
A degree and/or relevant professional qualification in social work, health, education, community work, finance or business management together with evidence of post-qualification training in relation to the Senior Management task is essential.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (funded by FHC).
The successful candidate will attract a base salary of circa £65k, dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus BHs.
