The Children's Court Guardian Agency for Northern Ireland (formerly known as the Northern Ireland Guardian Ad Litem Agency, NIGALA) was established under The Children's Court Guardian Agency for Northern Ireland (Establishment and Constitution) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023 and The Functions of the Children's Court Guardian Agency for Northern Ireland (No.1) Direction (Northern Ireland) 2024. The Agency is responsible for the management of the Children's Court Guardian service to the courts in specified public law proceedings and adoption proceedings.
Chief Executive
Due to the pending retirement of the current post holder, the Children's Court Guardian Agency Board wishes to appoint a Chief Executive.
The successful candidate will work with the Board in accordance with public service values and governance arrangements to achieve Agency goals which are in keeping with Ministerial/HSC priorities and targets.
If you are shortlisted it is anticipated that an assessment centre will take place on the 11th June 2024 and final Interviews are likely to be held on a number of days in the last week of June 2024
