Job description

Do you have a keen interest in partnerships, stewardship, and account management?

Are you ready to make a significant impact on the world of partnerships at one of the UK's largest health charities?

Do you want to put a stamp on the work our Partnerships team does, developing and building new partnerships for British Heart Foundation (BHF)?

About the role

As a Partnership Executive, you'll manage a portfolio of existing partners in London and the Southeast region. Your focus will be on nurturing strong relationships, increasing stock levels, and ensuring partners feel valued.

You'll be responsible for generating significant stock levels for many of our shops, stores, and online channels by developing partnerships with universities, local authorities, and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSAs).

Additionally, you'll actively seek new business opportunities and collaborate across teams throughout the organisation to maximise our impact. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative and innovative fundraising campaigns, engaging partners in the BHF's lifesaving work.

You'll have the opportunity to develop new skills and hone existing ones through stewardship, ad hoc projects, working on marketing material, data interrogation, and being involved in partnership operational support. You’ll also contribute to exciting campaigns with our partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Account Management
  • New Business Development
  • Data capture and reporting
  • Working cross-functionally across the organisation to ensure we are maximising our partnerships and keeping our offerings up-to-date.

Working arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.  The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
Need more help balancing your work and home life? Talk to us about what flexibility is available at the application or interview.

About you

To excel in this role, you'll have:

  • A proven track record of delivering results and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in account management, including engagement and operations. Ideally, you also have experience winning and developing new partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with stewardship experience. You can add value to current and new partnerships and confidently present to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience in turning insight into action.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise conflicting demands of multiple projects and partnerships.
  • A can-do attitude, proactive approach with great problem solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Benefits
To find out more about the benefits available at the BHF please download our benefits document at the bottom of the page.
Interview process
This will be a two stage process, first interview will be a one way video interview; second stage will be an interview via MS Teams.
