As the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of this evolving organisation. This is a unique chance to lead, augment, and influence the finance function while directly contributing to the broader strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Guidance: Collaborate with the executive team at the highest level, providing financial insights and recommendations to influence strategic decisions and drive sustainable growth.

M&A Expertise: Leverage your experience in transactions and M&A activities to navigate complex financial landscapes and support the company's “Buy & Build” strategy.

Strategic Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage key relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, investors, credit providers, regulators, and other relevant parties.

Coaching and Mentorship: Develop and lead a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth, continuous improvement, and accountability.

The Person:

Proven track record in a leadership role within a scaling SME environment.

Professional financial training (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent), with cross-industry experience, preferably including Financial Services exposure.

High-level FP&A experience, with an ability to elevate the analysis to feed into strategic decision-making.

Successful involvement in transactional activities, especially M&A, showcasing your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.

Strong coaching and mentoring skills, fostering team development and growth.

Exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to influence at the board level.
