SalaryEast LondonFoundation Trust is seeking a Chief Nursing InformaticsOfficer to join thesenior Digital leadership team. As a highly experienced and credible senior nurse, you will be able to provide expert clinical advice and guidance to support developments in the field of informatics and technology. You will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the Trust’s Digital Strategy.
The post will be configured to combine senior leadership in Digital with clinical practice in order to ensure the clinical credibility and relevance for developing the digital vision and systems.
The CNIO will be an experienced Digital Nurse Lead who is committed to leading and enabling clinical teams to develop their digital skills as part of safe care and clinical quality for patients and colleagues. As a transformational leader with exemplary clinical credibility, the CNIO will provide expert clinical advice and guidance to support the Trust's developments in the field of informatics and technology
The CNIO will be a key member of the Digital leadership team and a main contact for Nursing working closely with allied health professionals (NMAHP) informatics; they will work with the Trust's Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO/ Chief Medical Information Officer CMIO) and digital clinical leads. Collectively the multi professional leads will share the strategic vision for how technology will enhance care , patient safety and staff practice experience.They will engage with key stakeholders to ensure patient and clinical involvement in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of systems and services.
