Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, strategic, and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as Chief People Officer. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Chief People Officer will be to develop and implement the people strategy, you will provide strategic HR leadership for the Avery Healthcare Group and ensure the delivery of an effective, responsive and exemplar People service to the organisation, its leaders, managers and employees.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting change management and organisational development.
  • Maintenance of effective employee relations including participation in formal process of job evaluation, salary administration and reward management.
  • Provide advice on principles and detail of employment legislation and good practice.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of HR policies that meet legislative requirements and best practice and that any training requirements from the policies are understood and met.

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Have experience of working in a multisite environment whilst being able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and application of employment legislation and current HR best practice as well as experience of managing budgets.
  • Relevant degree or evidence of further educational qualifications and continuous professional development - CIPD
  • Minimum of 10 years’ HR management experience, within the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Possess effective time management, organisational and leadership skills.
