As the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will be overseeing the development, design, and launch of products. Your responsibilities are broad and integral to the company's success.

 Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Vision

  • Define Product Vision and Strategy - Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall goals. - Identify market trends and consumer needs to inform product development.
  • Product Roadmap - Create and manage a product roadmap, outlining key product launches and updates.
  • Ensure the roadmap aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and market demands.

Product Development and Management

  • Oversee Product Lifecycle - Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including planning, development, and discontinuation. - Ensure timely and successful delivery of products.
  •  Innovation and Design: Foster innovation in product design and development.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure product designs are aligned with brand identity and market trends.

Quality Control

  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaboration with Other Departments - Work closely with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive product strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Team Leadership and Development.
  • Lead and mentor product development teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Market Analysis and Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of fashion trends and consumer preferences.
  • Use data and insights to inform product decisions and strategy.
  • Customer Feedback - Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings.
  • Ensure products meet customer needs and preferences.

Financial Oversight

  • Budget Management- Manage the product development budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Allocate resources to maximize product development impact and ROI.

Profitability Analysis

  • Monitor product performance and profitability.
  • Adjust strategies based on sales data, market feedback, and financial performance.

Compliance and Sustainability

  • Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards.  Stay updated on legal requirements and industry best practices.

Sustainability Initiatives

  • Integrate sustainability practices into product development.
  • Work on eco-friendly and ethical fashion initiatives. In summary, the Chief Product Officer in our company is responsible for defining and executing the product vision, ensuring high-quality and innovative product development, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and driving market success through strategic planning and execution.

 

Your profile:

  • Minimum 7 years experience, with proven competence in outerwear design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, 3D experience (CLO user).
  • Keen sense of menswear fashion and trends
  •  Creative and strategic thinker. An understanding of and passion for sustainability within design.
  • Organizational talent, assertiveness, strong communication skills, and very good structuring ability.
  • Strong understanding of commerciality within a brand.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, open-minded and team player.
