We are looking to recruit, Child Protection Case Conference Lead positions, to lead with the ongoing development of the Child Protection Investigation Unit. This unit significantly contributes to delivering early help, preventative support and problem-solving interventions for adults, children and families working in partnership with key local and regional agencies.
You will be required to represent Greater Manchester Police at Child Protection Case Conferences and meetings, negotiating, taking actions and decisions on appropriate interventions to safeguard and improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities. You should have the ability to Review and analyse research from Greater Manchester Police and partner agencies to take decisions on the immediate and ongoing needs of children and families ensuring that relevant intelligence is shared within GMP and with partner agencies.
To be successful in this role you will require experience of leading and managing a team within a large, complex organization together with the ability to demonstrate experience of delivering services and being a key decision-maker in relation to vulnerable adults, children and families with complex dependencies and needs. Experience of partnership working and negotiating the best outcomes across multiple agencies is also essential.
