As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality child protection services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide effective leadership to a team of dedicated social workers within the Child Protection Team.
- Conduct regular supervision, performance appraisals, and support staff in their professional development.
Case Management and Oversight:
- Oversee complex Child Protection cases, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Review and provide guidance on assessments, care plans, and interventions to ensure the best interests of the child are prioritized.
Collaboration and Networking:
- Foster collaborative relationships with partner agencies, community resources, and stakeholders to enhance support for children and families.
- Represent the organization in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborative initiatives.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and maintain high standards of practice within the Child Protection Team.
- Conduct internal audits, reviews, and evaluations to ensure adherence to statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for the team and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Keep the team informed about changes in legislation, policies, and best practices in Child Protection.
Crisis Management:

Qualifications and Requirements:
