An exciting opportunity to join a large, longstanding public-sector organisation who are currently seeking a HR Advisory Team Manager, on a contract basis initially, to join their busy department.

Your New Role
In your new role as HR Advisory Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading the HR Advisory team, whilst supporting leaders with all people management cases through to resolution and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
As HR Manager, you will provide oversight, direction, coaching and advice to a team of HR Advisers who provide first line employee relations advice and end to end case management of all people issues. You will develop and maintain strong ER governance, controls, and quality assurance of the team's work to ensure organisational approach is appropriate and embodies the organisation's values whilst appropriately managing and escalating risk.
To support the ongoing education and upskilling of the team and leaders, you will also work with key stakeholders utilising data to help develop insights and trend analysis to recommend areas of focus for the business.
What You Will Need
- Demonstrable experience in complex ER cases, preferably in a regulated/unionised environment.
- Line management experience and experience of working in a flexible hybrid team.
- To be a strong relationship builder with the ability and passion to coach, maximise performance, working collaboratively and creatively with a high level of resilience.
- Advanced knowledge of employment law and ACAS guidelines and applying this in a workplace setting.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with experience in report writing.
- Experience of identifying trends, insights, process improvements and proposing suitable solutions.
