Job Title: Children’s Home Team Leader
Location: Blackpool
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week plus additional sleep-ins
Salary: £14.85 per hour + sleep in rate
Social Care & Education are looking to hire a Residential Childcare Team Leader to work within a children's residential setting based in Blackpool You will be expected to support the emotional and physical needs of all the children within the home, ensuring you provide comfort and care at all time.
Each child deserves comfort and security, and this is what you will help provide, while also trying to build on the children’s lives skills enabling them to be as independent as possible.
As a Team Leader, your main duties will be to:
· Provide high quality care services that support the needs of children and young people
· Be an advocate for their well-being
· Provide strong, motivational leadership to the team.
· Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting individual rights
· Provide good quality care, which is free from oppression and where differences are respected and valued.
To be a Team Leader, we require you to have:
· Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
· 1+ years’ experience as a Residential Childcare Care Worker
· Driving license (manual) preferred
