Job description


To be a Specialist Nurse in the field of children’s respiratory care who has sound clinical competence, knowledge, skills and experience in the care and management of children and young people with a variety of respiratory conditions from birth to transition to adult services To manage a caseload of infants, children and young people with chronic respiratory illness and
long term conditions. T
The post holder will work closely with the Lead Consultant to allow the development and management of the specialist service within their defined practice area, ensuring there is the delivery of high quality clinically effective care by taking a lead role in standard setting, guideline and policy formulation and implementation of national standard requirements for respiratory services.
