Charles Hunter Associates are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children With Disabilities Team on a locum basis.

About the team

To work alongside families, to respect them and their rights, to work with them in partnership and with their informed consent, to recognise their strengths and help them identify their needs.
To promote the upbringing of children within their families, where this is compatible with the welfare of the children.

About you

As the Social Worker you will demonstrate sound knowledge of social care processes and responsibilities in line with personalisation, self directed support and person centred planning.
A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children's Services setting.
