The Minster Centre is seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to fulfil the role of Programme & Data Administrator. This is a key student focused role within the registry with a varied workload. It has a core responsibility for managing data with a high level of accuracy, preparing, and submitting student-related statutory returns to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and administering progression for student records and assessment boards. The ideal candidate will have experience in Higher Education administration, will be organised, have excellent IT skills (proficiency in Excel is essential), and the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. They will be able to work autonomously on various tasks and build good working relationships with internal and external colleagues. Background and summary of the job The Minster Centre is a registered charity and specialist integrative counselling and psychotherapy training provider based in Queens Park, London. We are a leading training provider in the sector and have trained thousands of therapists since our inception in 1978. Our courses are accredited by UKCP, BACP, and are validated by Middlesex University. The Minster Centre also provides a psychotherapy and counselling service to the local community and has several multi-purpose spaces that are hired out for therapy, training, and events. Main responsibilities Data Returns: Working under direction of the Registrar and using own initiative to plan and gather student data. Enter data on the systems and use HESA software including data collection systems, data entry tool, and validation kit for data returns. Problem solving data queries and day-to-day management of data quality ensuring the highest level of accuracy. Point of contact for data queries and information requests from external organisations, staff and students. Regularly liaising with HESA to resolve queries as necessary. Manage workload to ensure deadlines are met and data returns are made on time in line with schedule. Monitor data requirement updates for future returns and plan collections accordingly. Preparation of various student data reports. Assisting in the development of the Salesforce student information database. Student progression: Create and maintain accurate student records. Record grades by accurately inputting from Moodle onto the system. Monitor student progression, identify and resolve issues in liaison with Registrar and Heads of Year. Prepare student progression data and related information for bi-annual Assessment Boards. Take assessment board minutes. Produce certificates and diploma supplements for students following awards.
