Location of Role:Wyvern College, Botley Road, Fair Oak, Eastleigh.

Wyvern College are looking for an energetic, charismatic, enthusiastic leader with the drive to inspire Wyvern College’s very successful adult community choir.  The position would be well suited to a music teacher with a relevant skill set.  Good piano skills would be advantageous.

 Wyvern Community Choir was formed in 2006 and has grown in strength and reputation with a membership averaging around 50 .

Wyvern Community Choir fulfils an important role in the local community bringing people together to experience the joys of a variety of music, perhaps for the first time or very often after a long break! Weekly rehearsals take place at Wyvern College during term time on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

Opportunities for performances have been well established and there will be further opportunity to work with the College Music department

There will be a strong emphasis on a friendly community based choir with the successful candidate having the enthusiasm and ability to shape the direction of the choir alongside current members.
