You’ll be able review budgets, make hiring decisions and manage customer and supplier relationships.
What does the day to day look like?
- Build a safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures for a safe working environment.
- Share best practices and improvement opportunities across departments.
- Manage the CHP unit for reliability and meeting production targets.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with peers for benchmarking and strategic development.
- Lead a 24/7 team, handling development and performance reviews.
- Build strong relationships to support knowledge sharing and effective scheduling.
- Manage production costs and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with audits and address improvement opportunities.
- Provide accurate reporting for regulatory submissions.
- Produce monthly reports covering operational activity and finances.
Are you who we’re looking for?
- Degree in Biomass, Energy, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in CHP Management or relevant process plant.
- Knowledge of safety standards including PSSR and BG01.
- Efficiently simplifies processes to maximize outcomes.
- Leads by example with passion, energy, and strong work ethic.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Driven to exceed goals and inspire high performance.
- Effective decision-maker and delegator.
- Prioritises managing and developing people.
- Fosters a conducive work environment.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable with risk.
- Excellent communicator and builds trusted relationships.
