Multiple Design Engineer roles are available in the North East region of the UK, ranging up to Principal level positions. These roles are part of a large-scale project with the potential to span over a decade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for water, wastewater, and drainage systems using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs with other project components.
- Conduct site visits, gather data, and analyse project requirements to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation to support design proposals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor-ship to junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in water, wastewater, and drainage system design, preferably within the North East region.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Autodesk Inventor (desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
