SalaryAbout the Client: A leading supplier of CNC machine tools is seeking two experienced Field Service Engineers to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and build strong customer relationships by delivering first-class service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service CNC machine tools at customer sites.
- Build and maintain strong customer relations, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimising downtime for customers.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of their CNC machines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in installing and servicing CNC machine tools.
- Preferably possess at least a HNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of Siemens controls is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers.
- Flexibility to accommodate overnight stays during the week and occasional weekend work, with generous allowances provided.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
- Preferably within an hour of Derby, but open if you're on the motorway network and happy to travel and stay away from home.
