Job Type: Permanent, 7am - 4pm

The Client:

Our client is a well-established engineering firm, delivering exceptional quality services in the field of Civil Engineering and construction.

The Role:

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct on-site visits, surveys, and inspections.
-Create markups for pricing related to proposed drainage, utilities, excavation, retaining structures, access, and general civil work.
-Establish sequencing plans for concrete pours.
-Review drawings generated by the CAD team.
-Provide technical expertise to support the project management team.
-Collaborate with contractors, clients, team members, and directors.
-Ensure compliance with quality management plans for all work.
-Manage and distribute construction drawings both at the office and on-site.
-Verify that construction aligns with design requirements.
-Perform site audits and inspections.
-Address on-site issues promptly.
-Technically coordinate commissioning processes.
-Generate design calculations, drawings, and reports as needed.

Requirements:

-Previously worked as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
-Minimum 4 years of working experience in the UK.
-Possess relevant experience in the Civil Engineering and construction industry.
-Hold a degree in Civil Engineering and/or a masters degree.
-Skilled in working with CAD software.
-Must live within 20 miles to the office location.
-Proficiency in the German language. (Beneficial)
-Valid Uk driving license and own car.
