Hunter Mason’s client has been trading for over 60 years and has considerable experience in the following sectors: Hotels & Leisure, Health, Retail, Refurbishment & Conservation, Residential, Education, Design & Build, Industrial, Defence, Estate Management and Public Private Partnerships. They have now identified the need for Structural Engineer with a strong background in the Civils sector to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and analysis of Structural components and systems
- Thorough working knowledge of Eurocodes
- Regeneration / steel structure experience
- Utilise Engineering software and tools for modelling and calculations
- Support project teams in the planning, execution, and completion of Structural Engineering projects
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including drawings and specifications
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical insights into construction processes
- Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and standards
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Based within the Hertfordshire or Essex Area
- Ideally a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 Years Experience in structural design
- Strong Experience with load calculations/structural calculations
- Experience with structural design and CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk Advanced Steel.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
