SalaryElvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Agent on behalf of a highly reputable and long-standing civil engineering principal contractor for ongoing work across Yorkshire.
The projects are based around Yorkshire with current work secured in: York, Wakefield, Hull, Doncaster and surrounding areas.
They deliver projects including: s278 works, roads & sewers, general civils, groundworks, public realm & flood defences. They are a passionate contractor who's senior management team are self-grown within the business. They have been a key player within the civils market for over 3 decades and continue to deliver to repeat clients year in year out.
Duties:
- Manage site team, sub-contractors and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
- Overseeing health and safety for site.
- Writing, adjusting and briefing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Progress reports and meetings with senior management and client.
- Daily documentation & site diaries.
- Monitoring costs & budgets for site.
- Reporting to a Contracts Manager to ensure site progress is made to deadlines and costings/budgets are monitored.
- Ordering materials.
Experience Required:
- Experience managing varied infrastructure works is essential; s278 works, roads & sewers, heavy civils etc.
- Experience working as principal contractor on projects is beneficial.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
- Temporary Works, NRSWA or Appointed Person etc. are beneficial.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to 55,000 plus generous package including:
car or allowance, pension, annual bonus scheme (circa. 10% of salary), generous annual leave entitlement and more.
Progression routes on offer to Project Manager/Contracts Manager are realistic with the growth plans in place and previous compoany track record of progression.
