Come and join us as a Claims Administrator - A challenging and rewarding role, with varied responsibilities. Focusing on providing a first-class service to beneficiaries and clients, who are going through a bereavement and supporting with the claims processing within a master trust setting.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the on boarding of clients, to the master trust. This must be processed in a timely manner, always providing first rate customer service to both our clients and consultants.

The key part of this role is to gather information about the potential beneficiary to provide to the trustees to make the final decision on where the death benefits should be paid. This information will be provided through written and verbal communication and full training will be provided on how to handle difficult conversations and have empathy towards the bereaved.

This role could suit someone looking for their first role in insurance or someone already in an administrative role looking for a new opportunity and the chance to work for a global leader within Insurance.

  • Advanced communication with clients, colleagues and providers, to include drafting letters and emails in a professional manner
  • Adhere to MMB processes
  • Ownership of delivery of tasks and proactively manage own workload
  • Partner with internal/ external stakeholders to achieve best service for client
  • Ensure quality of own work through right first time approach
  • Champion continuous improvement within your team/location

What you need to have:

  • Previous experience in an office setting and an interest in working with the benefits sector
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills – able to handle calls of a sensitive nature
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a wide portfolio of clients and stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

What makes you stand out:

  • Previous Insurance claims experience
  • Previous experience of speaking with bereaved customers
  • Knowledge/experience of master trusts
