Claims Governance Manager

Eames is currently working exclusively with a leading Motor and Household Insurer on the appointment of a Claims Governance Manager. The Claims Governance Manager will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing our client's Claims Governance framework, policies, and audit processes across motor and household claims operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute a robust Quality Assurance audit program for the complete claims handling process, including First Notice of Loss (FNOL), complaints management, supply chain, complex loss handling, fraud detection, liability, and recovery processes.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive Claims Governance framework, along with associated policies and procedures, aligning them with our client's strategic goals and values.
• Continuously monitor and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the Claims Governance framework, suggesting and implementing improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, and effectively manage interactions with compliance and risk management functions.
• Ensure that the claims operation adheres to FCA Consumer Duty regulations and address any training needs identified, ensuring they are recorded and actioned.
• Support the claims teams by providing expert advice on governance matters such as risk management, quality assurance, audit processes, and regulatory reporting.
• Research and implement industry best practices and benchmarks to enhance Claims Governance and control measures.

It's essential you have previous experience within a Claims Operations/Governance role, with a strong understanding of claims processes, products and FCA regulations.
