Salary: £32,760 - £35,205 per annum plus excellent benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Claims Investigator to join our busy in-house Insurance and Claims Team on a full time, permanent basis to support the continued work with whg colleagues, customers and Housing Litigation Team.
Main job responsibilities:
Deliver a professional claim handling service, investigating and reputing claims where appropriate. Support the manager with whg’s insurance arrangements including provision of advice to colleagues and customers.
We're looking for someone who has:
Either a Chartered Institute of Insurance Certificate or extensive experience in handling a variety of insurance classes claims. Pre action court disrepair experience would be advantageous
Experience and technical knowledge of public sector insurance, risk management and legislative framework.
Understanding of health and safety legislation
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team showing a flexible approach to caseload and deadlines
Ability to analyse data and produce of reports
Ability to travel to various locations to support investigation of claims (to hold a full driving licence with access to car)
Excellent communication skills
