To provide efficient and effective support to the claims team to ensure good relations with clients and brokers and that accurate records are established and maintained
The opportunity
The Claims Team has been built to meet the evolving needs of our business and our customers. The team is a formidable force for QBE, comprising over five hundred people spread across multiple locations within UK and the rest of Europe, and reflecting the diversity and strength of the region. Handling over 200,000 claims a year, QBE has built a reputation for excellence within the market and is widely recognised for its technical expertise
Your new role
Working with FNOL claims, provide efficient and effective support to the PI claims team to ensure good relations with clients and brokers and that accurate records are established and maintained.
About you
  • Undertake a range of duties in order to provide effective support to internal claims handling teams
  • Adhere to agreed processes and procedures to ensure accurate recording and processing of information
  • Operate an effective 'helpline' facility to clients in order to provide a high standard of client care
  • Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain databases and documentation including the logging of new claims within agreed service levels, in order to allow the Claims team to offer an excellent standard of service
  • Conduct a continuous review of the status of all outstanding claims
