Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers

NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for our client based in Bellshill, with immediate starts available. This is a dayshift position typically starting between 04:00-06:00 each day.

The role involves the delivery of ambient, chilled and frozen goods throughout Scotland and Northern England. Please note this position will involve a degree of manual handling due to the nature of goods being delivered. This will involve the use of manual pump trucks, rolling cages and operating tail lifts.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence with Cat C+E entitlement (with a minimum of 6 months experience and no more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes).
• Digital tachograph and Drivers CPC.
• A strong understanding of current Drivers Hours and WTD legislation.
• The ability to drive in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
• A flexible attitude to work, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Please note candidates will be required to complete a driving assessment for this role. Candidates will also be required to pass a D&A test at induction.

Rates of pay start from £16.79 Mon-Fri, with enhanced rates for weekends.
