SalaryStaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for a company based in Avonmouth.
We are looking for highly motivated qualified night drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company s ethos and assist us in the support of our client s day-to-day operation.
Remuneration:
Monday to Friday AM - GBP17.15
Monday to Sunday PM - GBP19.43
Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment
Responsibilities:
- This will involve delivering curtainside trailers nationwide.
- Some drops may include handball however most are forklift off.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start times between 04:00 & 08:00 + 16:00 & 21:00
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
