Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently hiring a skilled individual to fill the position of a Class 1 Driver.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.- Conduct necessary vehicle checks and inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.- Carry out planned routes as allocated, ensuring on-time delivery of goods and maintaining excellent customer service.- Load and unload vehicles with care, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage to goods.- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driving hours, and delivery documentation.- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and secure working environment.Qualifications:- Hold a valid UK Class 1 driving license with no more than six penalty points.- Possess a valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.- Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver with an excellent driving record.- Familiarity with driving regulations, road safety, and legal requirements.- Ability to follow instructions and read maps effectively.- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.- Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual tasks involved in loading and unloading goods.Pay Rate:- The pay rate for the Class 1 Driver role is from £15.00 to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift pattern.How to Apply:Candidates interested in this temporary Class 1 Driver role are invited to apply only at workchain.co.uk.
