Freeburn Transport Ltd are a family run business located in Moy, a village between Dungannon and Armagh in Northern Ireland. We provide time sensitive haulage services of dry freight and foodstuffs throughout Ireland and the UK
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.
Vacancies for Experienced Class 1 Drivers – Curtain Sider and Fridge Work
We are looking for 3 local experienced drivers to work night shifts, shift patterns below;
1800 – 0500 – Nutts Corner
1900 - 0700 – Lurgan
Job Responsibilities;
- Abide by health and safety requirements.
- Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge.
- Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.
- Adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
- Treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property.
- Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
- Deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.
- Abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods.
Qualifications;
- Class 1 HGV Licence.
- DIGI and CPC Cards.
- Excellent communication skills and IT Literacy.
- Good understanding of safety procedures.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
