The position of Class 1 Night Driver involves:
· This will involve trunking from Cullompton to Birmingham, Hinkley and London and reload back to Cullompton.
· You may also be required to cover internal trunking.
· Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
· Completing daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
· Working closely with the network hubs.
· Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customer’s expectations.
· Attending regular training sessions.
Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Driver:
· Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
· Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
· Experience of curtain-side trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
· Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
· Working to deadlines.
· Confident, polite and a team player.
· Good geographical knowledge.
· Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

- Salary for Class 1 Night Driver is between £36,532pa to £41,394pa, (including night shift allowance) and MORE! depending on hours worked.
- Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 48 hours per week, shifts starting between 18:00hrs – 21:00hrs.
