We are looking to strengthen our Team of dedicated Drivers with the addition of Class 1 HGV Drivers working from our customer in Thorne.
Job Summary:
To provide a delivery and collection service to LPC customers, and Partners
Reports To:
Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Performing all mandatory vehicle checks before commencing run and after completing run, and complete all relevant paperwork.
· To check the loading of goods onto your vehicle, and cross reference with paperwork/deliveries.
· Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
· Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
· Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
· Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally and internally.
· Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
· Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
· Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
· Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported within the required timescales.
· Ensuring awareness of safety procedures for goods loading and unloading.
The above list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to perform any other duties that any reasonably be expected of this position.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Full UK driving licence
· Excellent driving record
· Multidrop delivery experience preferred
· Excellent knowledge of road transport laws.
· Must hold a current CPC DRIVER CARD
· Must hold a current TACHOGRAPH Card

Working Hours:
These are full time permissions Monday to Friday. 17:30 - 03:30
