Class 2 HGV Drivers

HGV Class 2 Driver - SloughWe are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers across the UK, as well as loading and unloading vehicles at our depot and customers' premises.Benefits:- Competitive pay rate of 17- 17.50 per hour- Temp to perm role with full-time hours- Monday to Friday work schedule- 28 days holiday per year- Pension schemeRequirements:- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 6 points- Minimum of two years of driving experience- Digital tachograph card and CPC card- Good knowledge of UK roads and routes- Good communication and customer service skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Flexibility to work days and nights, and to vary start times and shift patterns as neededDuties:- Offload and reload vehicles at depot and customers' premises as required- Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading- Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution zone- Carry out daily visual maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image- Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers hours and tachograph regulations- Present tachograph for analysis as requested by depot management or statutory inspectors- Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner- Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business
