Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced LGV 2 Drivers to join our team. As a LGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid Tachograph Card , Driver in date CPC
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport materials and equipment to designated locations
- Load and unload using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Skills:
- Valid Class C licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with Skip, Hook Loader, Tipper, RCV, or Road Sweeper
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
