Salary: MPS 1 £31,514 - UPS 3 £51,179

About Belmont Academy
Belmont is a mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Bexley, with a virtual Resource provision for pupils with a visual impairment, physical disability and/or medical need. The school converted to an academy in April 2019 and joined London South East Academies Trust. Belmont Academy is looking for an inspiring, innovative and passionate Class Teacher for our Early Years to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class Teacher to join our team of professional, skilled and compassionate staff at Belmont Academy. If you are a trained Class Teacher wishing to join a collaborative and high-achieving team and seeking further development, then we are keen to hear from you; particularly if you have experience of delivering ambitious personalised learning programmes for children with SEND.

We are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher who is:
- Passionate about high quality personalised provision for children with autism.
- An excellent teacher with experience or expertise in working with pupils with complex needs in EYFS/Primary/Special Needs.
- Will be an excellent role model, especially encouraging positive relationships with everyone they come into contact with.
- Equipped with strong inter-personnel needs.
- A resilient practitioner committed to further development.
- Someone who loves working closely with others to change things for the better.
