Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale C: £17,466 to £17,756 pro-rata per annum (£22,737 - £23,114 per annum full time/full year equivalent)

Part Time: 32.5 hours per week

Working Weeks: Term Time + 1 week (39 weeks)

Cobholm Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Classroom Assistant to join our team. You will be an inspirational practitioner who is passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, who will also contribute to the vision and values of the school. Experience of working with primary students with special education needs would be of benefit, although training will be provided as necessary.

The main duties of the role include:

    Working to support children in the classroom and small groups.

    Assisting with whole class lessons

The ideal candidate will have:

    Have good numeracy and literacy skills

    Have experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

    Be able to use ICT effectively to support learning

    Be enthusiastic and passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students

    Be able to work effectively as part of a team, follow direction, yet use initiative when necessary

Cobholm Primary Academy is a primary school the community around Cobholm in Great Yarmouth, on the Norfolk coast and supports and develops children from Reception up to 11-year-olds who leave the school confident and ready for high school.
