£75 - £85 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role 

The College is a large Further Education Setting catering for students with Special Educational Needs, based in Southwest Birmingham, Students aged between 16-25 study a variety of different qualifications and work to integrate into life after education. In this role, you will be working as a Classroom Support Assistant, aiming to help students' attainment and manage and support their behavior or care needs.You will be working with a large established team, building strong relationships and working proactively on a child-first approach.  

The desired Classroom Support Assistant will have; 

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND or adults with SEND Needs.  

• A passion for the progress of students with SEND in further education.  

• An ability to work as part of a team 

• An Ability to work strongly as an individual and take a proactive approach to student care and learning.
