A successful, purpose-driven company within the food & drink space have an opening for a Production Planner to join their team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the inventory is optimised, enabling the swift and efficient flow of stock through the business and out to market. Working closely with their manufacturing base, you will be responsible for forecasting & demand planning, planning production / manufacturing capacity, and that correct stock levels are held at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities for this Production Planner role:
- Inventory Management: Ensure optimum stock levels at all times, accurately forecasting demand and planning production with manufacturers.
- Supplier Liaison: Working closely with the manufacturing base, being the key point of contact, managing capacity, and building strong relationships.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Liaising closely with both internal teams and manufacturing partners to ensure accurate and swift flow of information, flagging any issues that may arise.
- Support on NPD: Ensuring the availability of raw materials and packaging as required, and coordinating product trails.
- Analysis: Reporting and analysis on supplier performance to provide insights and support informed decision-making.
- Growth Mindset: Drive improvements and streamline processes to optimise performance, capacity and inventory levels.
- Systems: Maintenance of database and operational systems.
About you:
- Production planning & forecasting experience within food & drink / FMCG would be ideal
- Thrives in a fast paced role and business, a proactive problem solver with a deadline driven approach.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills are essential, with ability to prioritise workloads.
- Experience working with global factories and global shipping / logistics would be ideal.
- Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive approach and can-do attitude.
