The school caters for pupils aged 4 to 16 years, supporting a wide range of moderate learning difficulties; severe learning difficulties; complex & multiple needs; Asperger’s; Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs. Some students have physical, medial, speech & language, visual and hearing or sensory impairments. Therefore, it is beneficial that candidates has previous experience of working with Complex Communication Needs and Autism.
This specialist school are currently open to a variety of previous skills and experiences, offering the chance to work within the school on a supply basis initially with the intention of them applying permanently once they have gain in house training and hands on experience.
Requirements
Willingness to learn on the job
Pervious experience working with children or caring for adults.
Valid DBS or willing to obtain one
