Hays are currently recruiting for a Clean Water Network Modeller to be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.We are working in partnership with a world-leading design, engineering and project management organisation dedicated to engineering a better future for everyone. The company is committed to delivering end to end service to their clients across the whole life cycle from Capital, Consulting, Decommissioning, Engineering and Design, Operations and Maintenance, Project and Program management up to Project Delivery.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clean Water Network Modeller to join the Asset Planning and Solutions Team.

Your new role
The Clean Water Network Modeller will be part of a multidisciplinary team with a national focus.Your role encompasses several critical responsibilities:

• You are tasked with producing comprehensive drainage infrastructure design packages to relieve flooding and pollution problems.
• You will collaborate closely with other drainage engineers to develop innovative drainage design solutions.
• It is your responsibility to adhere to the CDM Regulations (Construction Design and Management Regulations) and prioritise safety and environmental requirements.
• Ensuring that projects meet these standards is essential for successful execution.
• Efficiently managing resources and schedules ensures successful project outcomes.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you contribute significantly to the success of drainage projects and overall infrastructure development.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client are looking for candidates with essential qualifications for a Clean Water Modeller with:

• BSc/BEng/MEng degree level: geography, GIS, Science, engineering related subject or equivalent considered with appropriate professional qualifications for candidates at Senior Levels.
• Technician roles require HNC, HND level qualifications in similar subjects are welcome to apply
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience with SYNERGI, INFOWORKS WS, EPANET, Infowater and other modelling software.
