Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team at Springwell, and at our City Centre Taproom. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas including 2 Offices equipped with kitchen facilities and meeting rooms, taproom areas, restroom facilities, and the brewers’ areas. This role will suit candidates looking for flexible hours as duties will need to be completed outside of business operational hours; night-time work, early mornings and weekend work may be required. The role will be based between our Head Office, Brewery & Taproom site, and our City Centre Taproom site both based in Leeds. You will report to our Office Manager and the General Manager (depending on place of work), and they will distribute tasks, dependent on the requirements of our sites.
Responsibilities:
- Taproom/s and Public Areas;
– Clean and sanitise tables, chairs, and surfaces in the taproom areas.
– Sweep & mop the floors.
– Clean and restock the restroom facilities.
- Office Quarters:
– Clean & sanitise office spaces, including desks and surfaces.
– Clean kitchen areas, including microwaves, surfaces, load dishes into the dishwasher when required.
– Hoover and mop the floors.
– Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately.
- Meeting rooms;
– Clean the desks
– Hoover the floors
- Brewer Quarters:
– Clean the changing rooms
– Restock and sanitise the restroom
- General Housekeeping;
– Monitor stock levels of cleaning equipment and supplies and let the Office Manager know when more is required.
– Ensure safe lone working practices and take responsibility for safety and security.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a cleaning or janitorial role, preferably in a commercial or industrial or hospitality setting.
- Driving License and access to your own vehicle.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Desirable:
- Certification in cleaning or sanitation procedures.
- Experience working in an office or hospitality environment.
