Cleaner (Part-Time Self Employed )

• Self Employed Cleaning position .
• To perform high quality cleaning procedures, whilst working in a safe and effective manner.
• To ensure that all areas of the practice are regularly cleaned, paying attention to the practice policy in respect of infection control and Health & Safety.
• Use a range of cleaning items and products, following C.O.S.H.H. guidelines at all times which we will provide.
• You will need to provide your own cleaning uniform/overalls as required.

Key Tasks:

• To clean all areas of the practice to a high standard, including sweeping & mopping clinical areas and treatment rooms
• Clean, vacuum, tidy and polish the common areas of the practice such as reception, office areas, waiting rooms, staff rooms and toilets
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in the practice
• Empty designated waste bins, including clinical waste bins
• Ensure appropriate use of any cleaning products
• Ensure appropriate colour coded cleaning equipment is used
• Ability to use a ladder for high level cleaning i.e. of top of cupboards
• General clearing of foliage/rubbish around the practice yard
• Obey all confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines and follow practice policies correctly
• Key holder - may be required to secure the practice

Beneficial Experience:

• Experience of cleaning a healthcare environment is desirable
• To be familiar with Confidentiality and Data Protection Acts
• To be familiar with C.O.S.H.H

Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 6:30pm
