- Self Employed Cleaning position .
- To perform high quality cleaning procedures, whilst working in a safe and effective manner.
- To ensure that all areas of the practice are regularly cleaned, paying attention to the practice policy in respect of infection control and Health & Safety.
- Use a range of cleaning items and products, following C.O.S.H.H. guidelines at all times which we will provide.
- You will need to provide your own cleaning uniform/overalls as required.
Key Tasks:
- To clean all areas of the practice to a high standard, including sweeping & mopping clinical areas and treatment rooms
- Clean, vacuum, tidy and polish the common areas of the practice such as reception, office areas, waiting rooms, staff rooms and toilets
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in the practice
- Empty designated waste bins, including clinical waste bins
- Ensure appropriate use of any cleaning products
- Ensure appropriate colour coded cleaning equipment is used
- Ability to use a ladder for high level cleaning i.e. of top of cupboards
- General clearing of foliage/rubbish around the practice yard
- Obey all confidentiality and Data Protection guidelines and follow practice policies correctly
- Key holder - may be required to secure the practice
Beneficial Experience:
- Experience of cleaning a healthcare environment is desirable
- To be familiar with Confidentiality and Data Protection Acts
- To be familiar with C.O.S.H.H
