Job Description:
As a CNC Miller, your primary responsibilities will include programming and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls to produce high-precision components for the oil and gas sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Program and Operate: Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls to produce precision parts.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with CNC milling machines.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller with Heidenhain programming expertise.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Preferred experience in a subcontract engineering environment, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
