SalaryWestwood Recruitment are currently looking for a CNC Miller for our client based in Leeds to start ASAP on a permanent basis. You will be working on Afters so the pay will accrue a shift premium.
Shift patterns are as follows - Monday to Thursday (2pm-12am)
Role Responsibilities
CNC Milling of complex small to medium precision engineered components.
Confident of working on small batch work and fully skilled to program, set and operate CNC Milling centers with FANUC control and program with Guide I
Live tooling and sub spindle knowledge would be ideal but not crucial
Able to interpret engineering drawings and job routings to setup and program a wide range of turning operations on both repeat and new components.
Identify and utilize best practice methods for work holding, tight tolerance machining and tooling.
Fully experienced with the machining of both standard and more exotic raw, high nickel content materials.
Able to work to tight time lines and multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment.
Fully competent with all types of inspection equipment to verify component quality.
Experience working in a 6S environment.
Role Requirements
Good generalist education, ideally a time served apprentice with a wide range of engineering experience and basic IT skills.
You can Program, Set & Operate the machines using FANUC control systems.
