Based at our Bognor Campus
We are seeking to appoint a Cleaner to join our Cleaning Services Team at the weekend. Working 6 hours per week either 6am to 9am or 7am to 10am Saturdays and Sundays. This post will be hourly paid and temporary contract in the first instance with the potential to move to permanent.
You will assist with the day to day delivery of cleaning services to the highest possible standard, providing a customer focused, flexible, proactive, safe, compliant and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
You will provide an efficient and effective service, to ensure that our estate buildings including classrooms, halls of residence and communal areas at our Chichester site are left in a clean and safe state. You may also be required to work at one of our off-site halls of residence.
We are looking for a motivated, customer focused, and helpful individual who is able to maintain consistently excellent standards of work whilst working alone or as part of a team. Flexibility is essential to cover a variety of working environments and different operational requirements including extra hours to cover staff sickness and increased periods of activity i.e. the Summer Conference Season. All staff are required to wear a uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during their working shifts and undertake regular training, including Health and Safety. All uniforms, PPE and training are provided.
