About The Role
Location: Farnborough, GU14
Pay rate: £13:38 - £16:00
Shift times: 7:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday
We are looking for an organised and energetic individual, someone who has strong leadership skills to drive success across the team.
You'll be someone who has a passion for cleaning and people, having a hands-on approach to ensure we continue to deliver a world class service to our client across the site.
You'll be responsible for budgetary framework for the site, action rectification plans and monitor performance inline with the clients KPI and ensure the cleaning specification is adhered too. As the Instore Cleaning Manager, you'll manage customer complaints & concerns, liaise with subcontractors and alongside completing weekly audits.
Key Responsibilities
• To ensure that the store is run safely and efficiently to the required standard and are compliant with policy and safe working environment for all.
• Daily communication with the client
• Client's complaints and concerns rectified swiftly
• Store is managed in line with the specification, contract and budget
• Ensure adequate materials and equipment on sites
• Reduce the risk of accidents involving plant, equipment & PPE
• Ensuring all staff use our Timegate time and attendance system via the app, download to their person device
• Ensure all company equipment on site is clean and well maintained
• Ensure appropriate numbers and calibre of staff available to enable service delivery
• Ensure training is planned to meet the requirements of operational staff
• Create a culture of high standards of conduct and performance
• Ensure quality company image is portrayed by all employees
• Ensure the rota's are being worked correctly. Investigate where needed
• Ensure wage budgets are not exceeded
People
• Ensure all employees are briefed on Pinning Procedures and are adhering to pinning process
• Recruit staff using company procedures and appropriate systems
• Maintain staff numbers at the agreed level
• Ensure all RTW checks are completed, investigate and manage where identified
• Induct new staff in line with company policies and procedures
• Provide on-site training and support for staff
• Ensure all periodics plan are signed off, in-line with the contract specifications
• Ensure staff adhere to all site rules and maintain a smart appearance
• Address and carry out required processes in relation to AWOL, sickness absence
• Reward and recognise employees using Bidvest Noonan reward schemes
• Carry out regular team briefings with own staff
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via incident reporting system
Health and Safety
• Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via incident reporting system
Information security
Ensure compliance with Bidvest Noonan's information security procedures in all activities
• Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager
• Report actual and suspected security incidents
