We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our Warden Service team.  As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance and support
- Create and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards
- Train cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries regarding cleaning services and resolve them in a professional and timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cleaning and sanitation techniques

It is a varied and satisfying role where you will work in the heart of the neighbourhood, ensuring good standards of cleanliness is maintained in the communal areas within the Council blocks of flats.

This is a 37 hour per week, full time contract which falls within Grade 7 of the Southampton City Council’s pay grades. This will equate to an annual salary of £29,777-£33,944 (based on working five-day week not weekends). The fixed working patterns will be:

Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
