We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations at a primary and a secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance, excellent performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage core functions including Contract Cleaning, Periodic cleaning, and annual Deep Cleaning.
- Ensure contract compliance in line with the contract specification.
- Performance management and development of the Cleaning Team Leaders and Operatives.
- Conduct contractual reporting (Audits) against the contract specification.
- Formulate and implement a clear cleaning programme, ensuring that the cleaning specification requirements are understood and maintained to the required level, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide flexibility to manage formal rectification or ad-hoc cleaning issues in a timely manner in line with the contract specification.
- Manage the Static Cleaning Teams to ensure completion of cleaning tasks in line with the contract specification to the required standard and timescales.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements including Health & Safety.
- Oversee the safe and proper use of equipment, ensuring it is maintained to the required standard and repaired as necessary.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry is preferred but open to sector for right candidate
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and contract management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and routines.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pass a clear enhanced DBS
