Form of workA forward thinking and modern Accountancy Practice is recruiting for a bookkeeper to take responsibility for their growing client portfolio. To be considered you will already have bookkeeping experience from an accountancy practice.
Duties and Requirements
- Competent user of Xero/Sage/Quickbooks
- Knowledge of VAT Regulations and MTD.
- Bank reconciliations and control accounts.
- Processing transactions.
- Payroll
- Preparing accounts to trial balance.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Dealing with clients and their queries.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work to deadlines.
- Prioritise workflow.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A salary of up to 42k is in offer for this position.
