Our Utilities sector team shapes and delivers solutions at the heart of GB energy and water markets. We advise on, formulate, deliver and service some of the largest and most business-critical programmes in the sector. This encompasses all aspects of the value chain from upstream production/generation, through wholesale markets and networks infrastructure to downstream B2B and B2C supply and smart metering.
We are looking for an experienced Client Director to perform a key role in the leadership of the sector team with responsibility for business development, successful delivery, and people management. You will be part of the Utility Networks team, primarily focused on growing our business with Water industry clients.

We are happy to discuss remote or hybrid working. By their nature, our clients are located across the UK, and we would expect you to be able to travel to meet them when required.

Your future duties and responsibilities
P&L responsibility for an assigned client portfolio
Business development across new and existing clients
Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with clients within your portfolio
Accountability for delivery of services to a client portfolio
Line management and career development of a team of consultants
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
A motivated self-starter that is able to lead matrix teams
Demonstrable experience of business development. Ideally this would be in the Utilities sector or a similar regulated sector
Experience of developing and leading sales campaigns, including proactive approaches
Experience of bidding and proposal development in a regulated procurement environment
Ability to communicate and engage at all stakeholder levels
Delivery and people management experience
