Job description

Who we're looking for
PwC is looking for a commercially minded and client-centric Senior Manager to join us as a key member of our Delivery Team.
The successful candidate will be leading teams within the Delivery Hub, ensuring these are aligned as a community and able to support the implementation of the function's strategy. To make an impact you will need to be self-starting and inquisitive, in order to develop a thorough understanding of the strategic drivers for the business area and the markets in which it operates. You will line manage across the teams, helping to bring together similar agendas and specialists so will need excellent influencing and communication skills in order to make an impact on senior management. You will be liaising directly with our Sales and Marketing stakeholders, and those in the wider business.
You will encourage creativity and innovation within your team and have the confidence and resilience to put forward different concepts and ideas. You will be expected to review existing ways of working and provide challenges or suggest improvements that may help us continue to be at our best. You will help drive the development of the team commercially and help drive our strategy.
Experience of leading and developing individuals is required. You will need to role model your own skills and behaviours to other team members with the ability to coach, develop and inspire junior team members to become highly effective specialists.
In this role you will:
  • Work with the Operations and Services Director to lead and shape the service delivery teams in the Delivery Hub. These include:
    • Client Feedback
    • Tender Tracker
    • Sales Enablement
  • Execute a client feedback strategy to support all LoS, working with the leadership team to drive up volumes of feedback on the firm's strategically important areas.
  • Create and maintain capability and community in the Client Feedback, Tender Tracker and Sales Enablement teams.
  • Review existing ways of working and strive for continuous improvement across the respective teams.
  • Play a leading role as a senior member of the Operations and Services team in Sales and Marketing, working closely with the capability leadership team.
  • Lead by example on capability excellence and understand the skills across the capability
  • Career coach members of the capability
  • Get involved in ad hoc projects requiring input from senior leaders

Essential skills and experience
  • Strong people management and development skills with experience of managing and developing teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Client focused with strong relationship and commercial skills.
  • Proactive with a positive can do approach.
  • Self-starter able to work effectively as part of a virtual team.
  • Team player; able to actively contribute and participate as a member of the Delivery Hub capability and Business Solutions.

About the team
This role sits within the Delivery Hub capability, part of Sales and Marketing, PwC's centralised support function, and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. We work together with the Clients and Markets Executive to build and sustain competitive advantage. We execute our go-to-market strategy using our expertise, talent and assets to drive commercial outcomes, for us and our clients. The Sales capability operates with a culture focused on client-centricity and our clients issues, ensuring we are operating with a commercial mindset and a consistent level of quality and excellence in all we do.
